William B. Pohl- President of Pohl Partners, Inc

William B. Pohl, president of Pohl Partners, Inc was born in Newton, Iowa in 1946 and moved to Austin, Texas with his family in 1952.  His education consists of an accounting degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in 1969 and a BA in real estate from the University of Texas in 1975.

Mr. Pohl was a growth forecaster in Austin, TX for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company from 1969 to 1972.  As a real estate growth forecaster Mr. Pohl learned and engaged in the dynamics of real property, projecting the locations of physical facilities for the phone company.

This unique background, coupled with an eighteen month tenure as a real estate salesman, generated the formulation of his first company, W. B. Pohl & Associates, Inc. in 1972.  The company specialized in the syndication, purchase, and resale of properties in the Austin area.

W. B. Pohl & Associates evolved into Pohl, Brown & Associates, and later into Pohl Partners, Inc.  The company has continued to work in syndication, purchase and sales of property with the additional specializations of land entitlement and development.
